Geek Toy a correr em mac sem precisar de utilizar virtual machines.

Depois de muito pesquisar, encontrei no forum do geek toy um tuturial para correr o geeks no mac e funciona.

É bastante simples, é só seguirem com atenção e fica tudo perfeito.

I managed to run geek toy on mac via wineskin (wine wrapper for mac).
Steps:
1. Download wine wrapper from http://wineskin.urgesoftware.com/tiki-index.php
2. Install latest wine engine (I used WS9Wine1.7.12)
3. Create new Blank wrapper and use engine downloaded previously
4. Open wrapper and use Advanced button and then take Tools tab, and from there use Winetricks
5. From there install:
a)dotnet20
b) gdiplus
c) allfonts (I'm using mac os fonts, so this package is optional)
6. Download GeekToy and install it in Your wine winery (there were such options - install software)
7. When You firstly open Your wine wrapper, than it will ask to install gecko and mono. Install gecko BUT DON"T INSTALL MONO!
8. Enjoy Your geekToy

Some afterwords:
1. In case if You something mess up, than just remove geekToy wrapper and install it again.
2. By default Your wineskin wrappers can be found in: /Users/YourUser/Applications/Wineskin/...
3. In case if You want reopen wineskin options to change something, You just need press mouses right button on Your wineskin wrapper and take option "Show package content", and there You will see Wineskin

Boa noite amigo, eu já instalei o wine até à parte em que me aparece 4 opções, instalar software, set screen options, advanced e quit. Eu carrego em instalar o software e ele pede-me para escolher um programa mas eu não percebo o que tenho de escolher. Agradecia a sua ajuda. Muito obrigado!

Desculpa kemseke, Parallels resulta mas não é o ideal. O link acima, não há outros softwares envolvidos. É tal e qual um Windows a correr num qualquer PC. O único senão é se quiser trocar de macOS para Win tem de reiniciar o Mac.Ler mais
